We are
a team of enthusiastic educators from four countries: Greece, Lithuania, Poland
and the United States of America ready to welcome our 48 students to the Values
Education Camp "We Care!" to be held in the farmstead "Dvarčėnų dvaras", Alytus
reg. on 15-21 July.
The camp is sponsored by the US Embassy Vilnius and organized by LAKMA (Lithuanian Association of English Language Teachers).
We got together for the preparatory workshop in Vilnius to share our experience and ideas for the activities of the camp. The campers will be engaged in discussions,
debates and projects on global and local values focusing on diversity, tolerance, human rights and social inclusion. Games, sports and swimming,
campfire and picnics will also be part of the camp to make it meaningful and enjoyable for our students.
We are looking forward to meeting at the camp and having a lot of fun together!
